The biggest international comedy festival on the European mainland starts each year at the end of February and runs for ten days. It culminates in the first weekend of March with the Big Binge of Comedy, when over 30 comedy shows take place each night at Utrecht’s complex of concert Halls.
The festival is half Dutch, half English-spoken and often includes a show in another language as well. Variation and diversity is central to the program which features new talents, big names, improv, musical and sketch comedy as well as experimental formats.
